"The Beast is still alive" was shown to the Bulgarian audience at this special event in the former Bulgarian Communist Party (now known as Bulgarian Socialist Party) headquarters on March 20, 2016.

The film reached an unprecedented scale for a documentary film event in Bulgaria. It closed the official program of the 20th Sofia International Film Festival and was attended by over 400 guests, mainly young audience.

The screening ended with standing ovations and emotional responses, followed by guest appearances of the authors Mina Mileva and Vesela Kazakova in some of the most popular national TV shows.

On March 29. 2016 the film had second special screening in The Red House Centre for Culture and Debate in Sofia and Activist38's new piece was more compact and intimate and it was followed by an open discussion with the authors Mina Mileva and Vesela Kazakova.  

The crew and the guests in the crowded hall were moved by the hearty response from the older generation, who paid respect to the bold and candid work of their successors.

The third screening of "The Beast is still alive" was held on May 30, 2016, as part of Sofia International Film Festival for Students programme.

Actress, director and producer Vesela Kazakova, along with famous Bulgarian actor Rousy Chanev, who dubs the voice of the Grandfather in the film, were special guests at the screening, which was followed by a discussion with the young audience.
